Caryn’s wealth of experience, gained within the UK and South Africa, extends across the Higher Education and Leisure sectors. Having held a variety of roles within branded hotels, and NEC Group’s catering division (Amadeus & GM of Catering for the BP Pulse Arena and Arena Birmingham), she delivered a multi-million pound refurbishment of formerly the NEC Arena, alongside delivering green field events as Catering Account Director for RHS Hampton Court, and supporting the onsite delivery team for the London 2012 Olympics, and the Scottish Open Golf tournament.
Caryn’s most recent post as Director of Accommodation and Commercial Services, at The University of Sheffield, was leading an award-winning team delivering Retail catering, Hospitality, Accommodation, and Residence Life services, with a multi -million-pound turnover. Caryn is passionate about transforming business results and is experienced at reshaping catering services to deliver significant cost savings.
Caryn’s natural talent as a strategist is aimed at creating customer centric services with improved business outcomes. What sets her apart is her ability to blend innovative thinking across sectors with practical solutions, tailoring each project to meet the unique needs and client goals.
